Six Flags Day

Up at 6.
Breakfast.
Dressed, brushed, scrubbed, collected and into the car.
Six Flags.
First ride- Raging Waters. My underwear and socks were wet for the rest of the day. Glad I thought to put my phone and camera into a plastic bag.
Rides, lunch, sitting barefoot on rock walls trying to casually let the breeze dry my crotch and shoes while the kids did the kiddie rides and my sister-in-law danced to the piped in 80's tunes. Love her.
Note to self: Bring spare undies and socks in plastic bags next time.
Attempted to keep everyone in the shade as we are all still painfully sunburned from beach day.
Note to self: Sunscreen EXPIRES.
Shopping. Because, God forbid a day should go by without shopping. But it's cool. These folks live in the sticks and don't have anyplace fun to spend their dough until they visit us. Still... lots of souvenir shopping.
Eventually pried my little Superman away from the Thomas train ride and got us all back to the car. It takes an hour to get to the car from the time the grown-ups decide to go. No matter where we are.
Home.
One too brief nap, one whining meltdown, one saucy teenager.
Beatings all around.
(Only in my momentary fantasy.)
Food. More food. This family, on this vacation, consumes more food than I can comprehend.
Oh, and dessert.
Half-blind-tired, kid's movie on, showers supervised, little ones to sleep (finally).
Laundry folded.
Dishes'll have to wait.
Blog visited.
Bed time - as soon as I confiscate the teenager's book so she'll actually sleep tonight.

Tomorrow - the mall.

Sounds like a great time! Sunscreen does expire, but even when it doesn't, I've learned you need to reapply a lot, and it helps if you apply it the first time. :)
